Job Overview

Dime International Mechanical Engineering W.L.L. is seeking a skilled Painting Supervisor with extensive experience in industrial painting and coating, particularly within the oil and gas sector. This role focuses on supervising painting operations related to structural steel and piping fabrication projects in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

The Painting Supervisor will be tasked with overseeing day-to-day painting activities on site, ensuring that all coating processes meet project specifications and quality standards. The role involves managing painting teams, organizing workflows, and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient project execution.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial painting and coating, preferably within oil and gas or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of blasting techniques, various coating systems, dry film thickness (DFT) measurements, paint mixing, and application procedures.
• Proven ability to supervise and lead painting crews effectively while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Hands-on knowledge of structural steel and piping fabrication processes.
• Relevant painting and coating certifications are considered a plus.
• Previous experience working on Qatar energy sector projects will be advantageous.
