We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician with a strong background in maintenance and operation of process plant equipment, specifically within the ammonia and urea production sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected oil and gas company in Qatar through Mekdam Technical Services.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of mechanical systems within the ammonia and urea process plants. This involves routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with other teams to uphold plant efficiency and safety standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer industries.
• Proficient in handling a range of mechanical equipment typical to process plants.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Contract Details and Benefits

This position offers a 1 to 2-year contract with the potential for extension based on performance and project needs. The compensation package includes a competitive day rate plus monthly living allowances, providing a comprehensive remuneration aligned with industry standards.
