Job Overview

We are urgently seeking skilled forklift operators to join a prominent oil and gas plant project based in Ras Laffan and MIC, Qatar. This role offers an initial contract of 4 months with the possibility of extension, providing a competitive salary package and essential benefits.

Key Responsibilities

As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for safely handling materials using forklifts up to 10 tons within the oil and gas plant sites. Adherence to rigging signals, proper load handling, and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards are critical aspects of this role. Effective communication, especially following safety protocols, is essential to maintain a secure work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience operating forklifts, especially 10-ton capacity machines
• Valid Qatar driving license suitable for forklift operation
• Third-party forklift certification recognized in Qatar
• Prior experience in oil and gas plant operations or Qatar Gas projects is highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of rigging signals and HSE procedures
• Basic proficiency in reading and writing English
• Physically fit and medically cleared to perform the duties
• Age between 25 and 50 years

Employment Details

This is a full-time position with a 10-hour shift schedule, including opportunities for overtime. Salary is set at QAR 3,200 plus food allowance. Accommodation and transportation are provided for employee convenience. Immediate joining is required to meet project deadlines.
