Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Driller to join our team in Qatar for essential site investigation and drilling operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating drilling rigs and performing soil tests such as Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) and rotary coring.

Key Responsibilities

The Driller will be responsible for executing drilling activities efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and equipment care. Key duties include:

• Performing SPT and rotary coring drilling operations on-site
• Operating and maintaining drilling rigs and related accessories
• Keeping detailed records of site data, borehole information, and field observations
• Carrying out routine maintenance and cleaning of rigs and drilling tools
• Reporting any equipment breakdowns, site irregularities, or unexpected conditions promptly
• Adhering strictly to site safety protocols, client instructions, and project requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Minimum secondary education completed
• At least 2 years of practical experience in drilling, preferably within site investigation projects
• Familiarity with drilling equipment controls and maintenance procedures
• Awareness or training in ISO/IEC 17025 standards is preferred
• Basic proficiency in English to understand instructions and communicate effectively on site
