Job Overview

Seaworks WLL, a leading company specializing in marine construction and dredging in Qatar, is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Scuba Diver. This role involves supporting underwater operations in challenging environments, contributing to breakwater and revetment construction projects, and ensuring the highest standards of diving safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surface-supplied diving operations, performing underwater inspections, welding, and documentation including photography and videography. Handling speed boats and facilitating efficient underwater project execution are vital aspects of the role. Additionally, the diver will contribute to dredging and coastal construction tasks, strictly adhering to safety and emergency protocols throughout all operations.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Valid IMCA or PADI diving certification is essential for this role.
• Must hold offshore safety certifications such as OPITO BOSIET, FOET, HUET, or equivalent.
• Proven 2 to 4 years of experience in commercial diving within marine construction or related fields.
• Competence in underwater welding and thorough knowledge of inspection techniques.
• Experience in underwater photography and video documentation.
• Strong familiarity with surface-supplied diving systems and speed boat handling.
• Demonstrated commitment to diving safety and emergency response procedures.
