Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Board Operator to join a reputable facility in Qatar. This role is critical for ensuring smooth utility operations across oil and gas, petrochemical, or related industrial sectors. Candidates with practical knowledge and a strong background in operating complex systems will find this opportunity rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring various equipment including pumps, generators, compressors, blowers, valves, and associated piping systems. Additionally, managing wastewater treatment processes is a key part of the daily operational requirements. Ensuring safety compliance by adhering to Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and isolation procedures is essential.

Required Skills and Experience

• A diploma qualification with at least seven years of relevant experience in utilities operations.
• Hands-on expertise in oil and gas or petrochemical environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and practical knowledge of safety protocols.
• Proficient communication skills in English to work efficiently within a team.
• Competency in basic computer applications such as MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational setting and respond effectively to dynamic situations.
