Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled BMS Operator to join the team at Qatar University on a contract basis. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment managing building management systems with a focus on maintaining optimal facility operations.

The position involves a 2-month contract with the possibility of extension. The working schedule consists of 9 hours per day, 6 days a week, providing a stable and structured work routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure efficient control of HVAC, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and electrical systems.
• Conduct routine system checks and troubleshoot issues promptly to maintain seamless facility operations.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to support facility management and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Utilize experience with leading BMS platforms such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, or Johnson Controls (JCI) for system management and optimization.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a BMS Operator.
• Strong background in facility management and building maintenance.
• Proficiency with widely-used BMS technologies including Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or Johnson Controls.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems, chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), pumps, and electrical components.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to operational challenges.
• Availability to work on-site in Qatar is mandatory.
