Job Overview

We are urgently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor authorized as an Electrical Person (AEP) to join a reputable project team in Qatar. This role requires hands-on expertise in managing electrical installations, testing, and commissioning, primarily involving diesel generator (DG) sets, Main Transfer Switch (MTS) panels, and complex cabling systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and compliant execution of electrical works in line with Qatar Electricity & Water Company (QE) and Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SCT) safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Supervisor will oversee the complete lifecycle of electrical projects, including:

• Supervising the installation and testing of DG sets, MTS panels, and associated cabling infrastructure.
• Ensuring all electrical works comply with safety standards and permit-to-work systems required by QE and SCT.
• Conducting commissioning activities and troubleshooting electrical systems on-site.
• Coordinating with project teams to deliver quality and timely results, especially on QE projects located in Ras Laffan.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical supervision related to DG sets, MTS boards, and cabling work.
• Strong knowledge of execution, testing, and commissioning procedures for electrical systems.
• Thorough understanding of and compliance with QE/SCT electrical safety rules and permit procedures.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior involvement in QE projects, especially at Ras Laffan.
• Holding a valid Qatar Electricity AEP card or completion of Brownfield training is highly desirable for quick deployment.
