Job Overview

We are urgently looking for an experienced Diesel Engine Mechanic specializing in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. This role is based in Qatar and offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ hands-on experience servicing diesel engines used in heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties include performing maintenance and repair work on diesel engines for heavy equipment. This involves diagnosing mechanical problems, replacing worn parts, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring all engines operate efficiently and safely. The mechanic will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime and supporting ongoing projects within the oil and gas industry.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least three years of practical experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair, particularly in heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of engine systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures relevant to the oil and gas sector.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
