Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Control and Instrumentation Technician to join our team in Qatar. This role involves maintaining and servicing electrical control systems to ensure smooth and safe operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, and various control instruments, combined with strong troubleshooting abilities.

Key Responsibilities

The technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLC), SCADA systems, and control panels. Other duties include calibrating flow meters, sensors, and BTU metering systems. You’ll perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance, inspect wiring and field instruments, and assist in installation, testing, and commissioning projects. Ensuring accurate technical documentation and adhering to workplace safety standards will be critical.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical, control, and instrumentation maintenance.
• Sound knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and control system operations.
• Proficiency in calibration procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiar with flow meters, sensors, and valve actuators.
• Understanding of PTW (Permit to Work) procedures and safety compliance.

Work Environment

This position is based in Qatar and involves working in industrial environments where safety and precision are paramount. The role demands close collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure optimal functionality of control systems.
