Job Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Structural Fabricators for an urgent hiring opportunity located in Ras Laffan, Qatar. This contract position is initially for a duration of three months with the possibility of extension based on project needs. The role requires a commitment of 10 hours per day, six days a week.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, structural layouts, and fabrication blueprints. Tasks include cutting, shaping, drilling, and welding steel components used in platforms, pipe supports, skids, walkways, frames, ladders, and other plant structures. Fabricators will assemble and install structural steel elements following design specifications and on-site requirements. Operation of fabrication tools such as cutting torches, plasma cutters, grinders, drills, and welding machines is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.
• ITI or Trade Certificate in Steel Fabrication is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with steel fabrication and welding techniques.
• Strong knowledge of operating fabrication tools and machinery.
• Valid Qatar ID (QID) and currently on a freelance visa.
