Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Doctor to join our team and oversee the health and productivity of poultry flocks. This role involves diagnosing and managing diseases, implementing vaccination programs, and providing both preventive and curative care in a farm setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine with a focus on poultry or farm animals.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the health status and productivity of poultry flocks regularly
• Diagnose and control infectious and non-infectious diseases affecting the poultry
• Develop and implement vaccination schedules and biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks
• Administer treatments and provide preventive healthcare measures to maintain flock health
• Maintain accurate health records and prepare reports on farm health management activities

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of poultry diseases and vaccination programs
• Experience with farm management and poultry health preferably
• Excellent communication abilities and proficient reporting skills
• Capability to work effectively in a farm environment, adapting to on-site conditions

Requirements

• A degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognized institution
• Experience in managing poultry or farm animals is preferred but not mandatory
• Open to applicants of any nationality
