Job Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated Health Support Associate to join the insurance sector in Qatar. This opportunity is ideal for MBBS fresh graduates aiming to kickstart their career in medical claims and healthcare coordination within an insurance environment.

This role is specifically open to male candidates with a medical background, offering hands-on experience in medical claim processing and hospital coordination.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to medical insurance claims. Your primary duties will include:

• Processing medical claims and pre-authorizations according to company policies.
• Conducting detailed reviews of approvals based on insurance policies and patients’ medical histories.
• Coordinating effectively with hospitals and healthcare providers to ensure smooth communication and claim handling.
• Managing high-cost cases and hospital admissions to safeguard claim accuracy and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

• A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree.
• Between zero to five years of experience in a related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• A valid Qatar QID with Secondment status.
• Solid understanding of medical coding systems such as CPT and ICD, alongside knowledge of insurance policies.
