Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing medical claims accurately by leveraging their solid understanding of medical processes, particularly outside clinical environments. Handling authorization requests is a critical part of this role, essential for ensuring claims meet required criteria before approval.

Required Skills and Experience

• A nursing or medical degree or diploma is essential
• Between 4 to 8 years of experience in a relevant medical claims or healthcare setting
• Strong medical knowledge, with particular insight into non-clinical claim assessment processes
• At least one year of proven experience managing claim authorizations
• Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts within a 24/7 department
• Must be currently based in Qatar with a valid QID
• Immediate or short-notice availability will be highly favored

Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based within a medical insurance department supporting continuous 24/7 operations. Candidates must be adaptable to shift work that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
