We are seeking a skilled Assistant Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our team in Qatar. This role is essential in managing government relations and ensuring company compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working within Qatar’s legal framework and be proficient in handling employee documentation and government procedures.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant PRO will oversee various government and regulatory processes, including:
- Coordinating and processing government applications, ensuring compliance with local laws.
- Managing visa applications, Qatar ID renewals, residence permits, and sponsorship transfers for employees.
- Monitoring and renewing company licenses, permits, and other governmental records.
- Handling vehicle violation issues and managing fleet-related governmental requirements.
- Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation for both employees and the company.
- Liaising with government offices, embassies, and other relevant agencies to facilitate smooth operations.
- Addressing employee accommodation needs and resolving operational concerns linked to government matters.
Required Skills and Experience
- A minimum of three years’ experience as a PRO within Qatar.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential; Arab nationals are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Labor Law along with an understanding of government regulations and procedures.
- Proven experience in visa and immigration processing, including familiarity with government e-portals.
- Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and problem-solving aptitude.
- Willingness and ability to visit government offices and authorities as needed.
- Experience managing company accommodations related to employee housing.
