Nair Systems is seeking a skilled IT Project Manager Consultant to support our Qatar operations. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing IT projects within the banking and financial services sector, demonstrating strong leadership and project delivery expertise. This role involves overseeing project portfolios, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects align with organizational goals and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple projects following established IT project management methodologies to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery. Duties include building productive relationships with internal departments and external vendors, monitoring project progress, risk mitigation, and maintaining communication with senior management and stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves preparing comprehensive project documentation, leading team meetings, and supporting compliance and audit requirements. Handling sensitive information with confidentiality and fostering professional development are also critical aspects of this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is mandatory.
• Project Management Institute (PMI) certification required; an MBA or master’s degree is advantageous.
• At least eight years of demonstrated experience managing IT projects within banking or financial services industries.
• Strong expertise in project management techniques and tools.
• Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with superior problem-solving, decision-making, and financial management skills.
• Proven leadership, motivation, and team-building capabilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly and eagerness to learn new concepts and technologies.
• Additional certifications or training in systems technology, management, or banking is a plus.
