Description

• Programme manage the set up and ongoing optimisation of the QR Digital Factory in collaboration with the selected strategic partner. Scale from a few agile teams to a maximum of 20/30 teams (200+ contractors).
• Ensure that Qatar Airways realises the benefits from the Digital Factory when it comes to velocity and change scalability.
• Establish an appropriate IT strategy when it comes to the future Qatar Airways digital channels (QR.com, mobile app, etc.) to be hosted on the cloud and developed / maintained by the Digital Factory.
• Ensure a high degree of resilience (stability, availability, security, etc) for the QR digital assets managed by the Digital Factory.
• Enable and support the business’ management to develop and seek approval for business case/CMC by providing reliable and optimal cost estimates; and advising on technology and implementation risks.
• Establish and facilitate optimal project governance and decision making structures, such as Steering Committee and Working Groups, to ensure smooth, efficient and risk-managed programme delivery.
• Take full responsibility for managing execution of contracts with suppliers of IT systems and hosted services, ensuring that service providers meet agreed service levels and that usage of licenses is optimised.

Qualifications

• Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s level
• Bachelor’s Degree in the fields of Computer Science, any Engineering discipline, Commerce or Sciences.
• Industry related certification in either or both ITIL, Project management.

Experience: 

• Minimum 10 + years relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years in similar role, ideally within a customer relations environment or fast paced complex environment such as financial service, retail, or FMCG.
