Mekdam Holding in Qatar is seeking a skilled Network Technician with extensive experience in network, server, and data-centre support. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and other connectivity systems, ensuring smooth IT operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

The Network Technician will be responsible for hands-on troubleshooting and technical support for a variety of network components, including switches, routers, access points, phones, and telecom links. This role requires maintaining robust network security and hardware functionality while documenting system performance and issues clearly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, ICT, or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of practical experience in network and data-centre environments.
• Proficient in troubleshooting network infrastructures such as LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and cabling.
• Strong understanding of network operations, hardware management, and security protocols.
• Mandatory CCNA certification; CCNP and Extreme Networks certifications are highly preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective documentation.
• Valid Qatar driving license is required.
• Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

Work Environment

This role demands adaptability to dynamic work schedules and a willingness to provide on-site support during non-standard hours to ensure continuous network stability.
