Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team at akLogiks in Doha, Qatar. This role requires a dedicated professional with solid experience in Java development, eager to contribute to innovative projects and advanced software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement robust backend services, develop microservices architectures, and ensure seamless API integration using REST and SOAP protocols.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
• 3 to 6+ years of hands-on experience in professional Java development
• Proficient in Core Java (Java 8/11 and above) and J2EE technologies
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA frameworks
• Experience with Microservices architecture and API development (REST/SOAP)
• Solid database knowledge, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and PL/SQL programming
• Familiarity with application servers like Tomcat and WebLogic
• Working knowledge of version control using Git, continuous integration with Jenkins, and containerization through Docker
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Bilingual in Arabic and English is mandatory
• Must hold a transferable Qatar ID and be ready for immediate joining
