Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Officer to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. This full-time role requires a hands-on professional capable of providing technical support and maintaining smooth IT operations for our office and field locations.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Officer will be responsible for delivering first-level support across hardware, software, and network issues. Duties include installing, configuring, and updating systems, applications, and peripherals, as well as supporting end users both remotely and onsite. Monitoring system performance, ensuring antivirus and security updates are current, and managing support tickets through our IT service desk are essential parts of this role.

Additional responsibilities involve assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, managing user accounts and email setups, maintaining printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and other devices, and documenting technical solutions along with user guides. The role also includes managing IT asset inventory, tagging equipment, overseeing hardware repairs, and supporting IT system rollouts, updates, and security patch implementations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field and possess a minimum of four years’ experience in IT support and troubleshooting. Familiarity with user account management and ticketing systems is essential. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, or Microsoft Azure certifications will be considered a strong advantage. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Qatar.
