Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT NOC Specialist / Engineer to join a dynamic team in Qatar on a full-time, outsourcing basis. This role involves working on a 3-year contract and requires supporting round-the-clock operations in a critical IT environment. The ideal candidate will have substantial hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure, incident resolution, and maintaining service levels in a 24/7 NOC setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor critical IT systems and infrastructure to ensure continuous availability.
• Manage and resolve incidents promptly while adhering to established SLA guidelines.
• Coordinate effectively with internal and external support teams to troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain system health using monitoring tools such as SCOM and LiveMaps.
• Follow ITIL best practices to maintain efficient incident management and IT service operations.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a 24/7 critical IT or NOC environment.
• ITIL Foundation Certification is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and IIS administration.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and services including LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and SharePoint platforms.
• Experience with ITSM tools, specifically System Center Service Manager (SCSM) is preferred.

Work Environment

This position requires working in a high-pressure, 24/7 shift-based operational environment, ensuring IT services remain available and performing at optimal levels at all times.
