Job Overview

Pigeon Engineering Projects is seeking qualified Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officers for a contract position based in Ras Laffan, Qatar. This role is initially for a three-month period with the possibility of extension. We are looking for safety professionals with proven expertise in the Oil & Gas sector to ensure compliance and promote safe working environments.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring HSE protocols on site, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring all safety standards meet regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with project teams to identify potential hazards and maintain a proactive safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 7 years of experience as an HSE Officer, with a minimum of 3 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
• NEBOSH certification obtained no later than 2022 is mandatory.
• A relevant graduate degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage safety protocols for Oil & Gas projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Applicants holding valid QatarEnergy approvals or who have completed QatarEnergy safety training will have an advantage.
