Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling industrial machinery and mechanical systems, with expertise in maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning. This role requires proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical repairs, alongside experience working within construction environments involving plumbing, piping, and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines, hydraulic presses, pneumatic systems, compressors, conveyors, and lifting equipment.
• Handle installation, relocation, leveling, alignment, and commissioning of mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues through thorough troubleshooting procedures.
• Maintain and repair generators and other critical mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Interpret and work from mechanical and hydraulic drawings or manuals to execute tasks accurately.
• Uphold strict safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, following OSHA and ISO standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in industrial machinery maintenance covering hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting capabilities with hands-on skills in installation and commissioning.
• Experience in generator maintenance and repair is essential.
• Familiarity with construction-related mechanical systems such as plumbing, piping, and HVAC installations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical mechanical and hydraulic drawings.
• Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance in all maintenance activities.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates with experience in industrial workshops, manufacturing plants, heavy equipment service centers, shipyards, or power generation facilities will find this role well suited to their skills and background.
