Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Senior Facility Management Engineer specializing in Mechanical systems to join a leading operations team in Qatar. This role demands a proactive leader with over 8 years of facility management expertise, capable of overseeing complex 24/7 operations and managing a large team of technical staff and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will supervise both hard and soft FM services, including HVAC, district cooling, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, ELV systems, and lifts. You will lead teams consisting of more than 80 personnel, contractors, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) providers. Your duties also include:

• Reviewing and approving work orders, quotations, and permits
• Processing purchase requests with detailed justification
• Leading emergency response activities and conducting root cause analysis
• Operating and maintaining cooling plants such as chillers, cooling towers, pumps, chemical dosing setups, and control systems
• Overseeing preventative and corrective maintenance for critical infrastructure
• Coordinating with KAHRAMAA-approved contractors for medium and low voltage panel upkeep
• Ensuring strict compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Qatar Civil Defence Department (QCDD), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards
• Preparing and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly operation reports

Required Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates will be skilled in integrated facilities management with strong expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) operations and district cooling systems. Proven knowledge in fire and life safety, contractor management, HSE protocols, and team leadership is essential to excel in this role.
