Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer specialized in Commercial Kitchen Equipment to join a reputable company based in Bahrain. This role requires an experienced professional to lead projects related to the installation and maintenance of commercial kitchen solutions. The position offers a competitive salary package of BD 1500-2000 along with additional benefits such as yearly airfare, family status, a company car, and SIM card.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior FSE Project Engineer will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle for food service equipment installations. Key duties include preparing technical drawings, layouts, and bills of quantities (BOQs), as well as coordinating with consultants, architects, and clients to finalize technical and design specifications. The role demands close collaboration with suppliers and contractors to guarantee the timely delivery and installation of equipment. Monitoring project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation is critical to ensure smooth execution.

The engineer will conduct site inspections, handle snag lists, and oversee the handover documentation process. They will also provide technical expertise during tendering and procurement stages, and mentor junior engineering staff to foster their development.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience managing commercial kitchen equipment projects, including sales, design, installation, commissioning, and handover phases.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and project management tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in site supervision and stakeholder communication.
• Previous experience working within the GCC region is essential.
• Familiarity with major international kitchen equipment brands such as Hobart, Rational, and Electrolux.
• Background working on projects in hospitality, food and beverage chains, hospitals, or central kitchens is highly advantageous.
• PMP certification or equivalent credentials would be a plus.
