Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveying Engineer to join our team in Al Rayyan, Qatar. This long-term position requires a professional with extensive experience in quantity surveying, particularly with Ashghal building projects. The ideal candidate will hold a recognized engineering qualification and possess the necessary licenses to operate at a high level within Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

The Quantity Surveying Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost and contract management related to construction projects. This includes preparing detailed cost estimates, conducting valuations of works in progress, managing project budgets, and ensuring compliance with Ashghal regulations. Maintaining accurate documentation and liaising with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects will also be essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• 15 to 20 years of demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with significant exposure to Ashghal building projects.
• Chartered Engineer status recognized by MMUP or UPDA with Grade A certification.
• Prior Ashghal approval is highly preferred.
• Excellent command of project cost control, contract administration, and client coordination.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively interface with multiple project stakeholders.
