Job Overview
A leading Grade A MEP contractor in Qatar is seeking experienced professionals for a variety of engineering roles. Opportunities are open across multiple disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering, supporting ongoing projects within the region. Candidates with GCC experience and valid Qatar driving licenses are highly preferred.
Available Positions and Key Responsibilities
The contractor is hiring for the following positions:
- Maintenance Engineer: Oversee MEP maintenance operations with a focus on mechanical or electrical systems. Requires a B.E or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Generator Maintenance Engineer: Manage comprehensive generator maintenance programs. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Site Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical): Supervise on-site MEP contracting activities, ensuring project standards and timelines are met. A UPDA Grade-C license is mandatory.
- Civil Maintenance Engineer: Responsible for managing civil assets maintenance and upkeep. Requires a B.E in Civil Engineering.
- MEP Draftsman: Prepare detailed MEP designs and drawings for various projects. Diploma in related field preferred.
- Estimation Engineer (Mechanical): Develop precise mechanical estimations and cost analyses. Requires relevant engineering qualification.
- Mechanical Foreman and Civil Foreman: Lead teams in mechanical and civil tasks respectively, ensuring compliance with project requirements and deadlines. ITI or diploma holders preferred.
- Duct Fitter and Fire Fighting Pipe Fitter: Skilled tradesmen to install and maintain ducting and fire fighting pipe systems, respectively.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 4 to 7 years of relevant GCC experience depending on the role.
- Valid Qatar driving license (mandatory for Maintenance Engineer; highly preferred for others).
- Proficiency in English is essential, with Arabic language skills considered an advantage.
- UPDA Grade-C license is required for Site Engineers.
