Job Overview

We are seeking a certified NACE Level 2 / AMPP Coating Inspector to join ongoing projects in Qatar. This role focuses on inspecting protective coating systems within industrial, oil and gas, and construction sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of coating inspection standards and proven experience in maintaining quality throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of coating systems during surface preparation, application, and final stages to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Verify adherence to NACE/AMPP standards, ISO guidelines, and specific contractual specifications.
• Utilize inspection tools and instruments accurately to assess coating quality.
• Identify defects or deviations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings and quality assessments.
• Collaborate effectively with site and project teams to maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Active NACE Level 2 or AMPP Coating Inspector certification is mandatory.
• Experience in industrial sectors such as oil and gas or construction is highly preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of coating materials, application processes, and inspection techniques.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills to document inspections clearly and accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of a multidisciplinary site team.
