Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team at a construction site in Qatar. This role involves maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment primarily related to sewerage and water systems. The position offers a competitive salary along with accommodation and transportation allowances. Working hours consist of 8-hour shifts, six days a week, with opportunities for overtime.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of various mechanical systems on site. This includes hands-on work with motor pumps, valves, piping systems, and mechanical seals. The role also requires overhauling rotating equipment such as centrifugal and submersible pumps, ensuring all machinery operates efficiently and safely.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience within the GCC, specifically in sewage/water treatment or construction environments.
• Proficient knowledge of sewerage systems, submersible sewage pumps, and motor pump systems.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and P&IDs for accurate troubleshooting and repairs.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a certified trade qualification is essential.

Requirements

• Valid Qatar ID (QID) with transferable No Objection Certificate (NOC) is mandatory.
• Preference given to candidates holding a freelance visa.
• Immediate availability to join the project.
