Job Overview

WALCO Middle East is seeking a skilled Mechanical Site Supervisor to oversee mechanical operations at their project site in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly within maintenance projects, and possess strong leadership and coordination abilities to manage site activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising manpower on-site, planning work schedules, and ensuring smooth coordination with clients. The role involves adhering to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols and managing the Permit to Work (PTW) system to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is essential.
• A minimum of 10 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years in Oil & Gas maintenance projects.
• Demonstrated experience in manpower supervision and effective work planning.
• Hands-on knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) procedures and HSE standards.
• Experience with QatarEnergy projects is highly preferred.
• Valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory to fulfill site mobility requirements.

Work Environment

This role operates within the Oil & Gas and Mechanical Construction and Maintenance industry in Qatar. Candidates will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring project deadlines are met while upholding quality and safety standards.
