Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Material QA/QC Inspector to join our team immediately in Ras Laffan, Qatar. This role requires a professional with a strong background in mechanical or metallurgical engineering, focused on quality assurance and control of materials in engineering projects. This position is open to candidates currently located within Qatar for prompt mobilization.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality inspection of materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. This includes conducting inspections and tests, analyzing results, and preparing detailed reports. The role demands collaboration with project teams to maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Valid certification in CSWIP 3.1 or AWS‑CWI.
• NDT Level II qualifications in PT, MT, UT, RT disciplines.
• Certified according to SNT‑TC‑1A, CP‑189, or an equivalent standard.
• Minimum of 8 years experience with a degree or 12 years with a diploma in relevant fields.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC material inspection.
• Proficiency in English communication and MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional certifications such as BGAS‑CSWIP Painting Inspector or NACE Level 1 or 2 are considered advantageous and will strengthen your application.

Work Schedule and Benefits

The standard working week is Saturday through Thursday, with shifts lasting 8 hours per day. The employer provides accommodation, transportation, flights, and medical coverage as part of the employment package.
