Job Overview

We are actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Qatar. This role focuses on performing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure smooth and safe operation of all equipment, facilities, and systems within our stores and warehouses. The ideal candidate will help maintain high operational standards while adhering to safety and company regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting regular preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general systems.
• Promptly addressing breakdowns and maintenance requests to minimize disruptions in operations.
• Inspecting equipment and facilities to identify faults and potential issues before they escalate.
• Maintaining detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs using the company’s ERP or maintenance system.
• Coordinating with external contractors for specialized technical support when necessary.
• Ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and company policies throughout all maintenance activities.
• Supporting maintenance tasks across multiple business units, including supply centers and warehouses.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and materials safely and properly, and reporting any safety hazards or recurring issues to management.
• Contributing to a clean, safe, and well-maintained working environment at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:

• A Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related technical field.
• Experience in maintenance within QSR, F&B, retail, or comparable operational settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, with proven troubleshooting capabilities.
• Solid understanding of both preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and respond swiftly to urgent maintenance needs.
• Excellent time management skills along with keen attention to detail.
• A good command of English to communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards and a strong commitment to following them rigorously.
• Good problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently or within a team environment.
• Competence in handling maintenance tools, equipment, and digital maintenance tracking systems.
