Job Overview

Q-Tec Engineering WLL and Q-Tec Facilities Management WLL, Qatar’s leading and rapidly expanding “A” Grade MEP and Facilities Management company, are seeking qualified professionals to join their team immediately. We invite candidates with transferable visas or a No Objection Certificate (NOC) who can commence work promptly to apply for multiple key roles across MEP and facilities management disciplines.

Available Positions and Qualifications

We are looking for experienced candidates to fill the following positions, each requiring specific expertise and qualifications based on the role:

• Division Manager – MEP: Over 15 years of experience with minimum 7 years in a managerial role. Must have a Mechanical Engineering background with UPDA Grade “A” certification. Responsible for overseeing the design, installation, commissioning, and handover of MEP projects, including data center ventures.
• QA/QC Manager: Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance and control within construction or MEP sectors. Requires Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with UPDA Grade “A”. Oversees Project Quality Management System (PQMS) compliance.
• Facilities Manager: At least 10 years of experience managing facility operations and maintenance. Mechanical Engineering degree with UPDA Grade “A” essential. Accountable for supervising MEP teams and ensuring timely maintenance.
• Commercial/Contracts Officer: 10+ years’ experience managing contracts, negotiations, and commercial compliance. Bachelor’s degree required.
• Assistant Manager – Procurement: Minimum 15 years of procurement experience focusing on MEP and construction materials with a mechanical engineering degree.
• Civil Estimation Engineer: 7 years in civil estimation and tender preparation. UPDA Grade “C” or higher required along with Bachelor’s degree.
• Mechanical Engineer – Projects: 10 years’ experience, especially in MEP systems, chiller plants, and data center projects; UPDA Grade “C” and Mechanical Engineering degree needed.
• Mechanical Maintenance Engineer: Skilled in MEP maintenance and troubleshooting with focus on air-cooled chiller plants; 10 years of experience and UPDA Grade “C” certified.
• HVAC Technician: At least 7 years of experience working with chillers, VRF, and package units. Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Chiller Supervisor: Manages chiller plant operations and maintenance, leads technicians, and handles emergencies. Diploma or ITI.
• Facility Supervisor – HVAC: Supervises HVAC system functions, maintenance teams, and contractors. Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering.
• QFAM Operator: Operates and monitors QFAM equipment and systems; Diploma required.
• Pump Mechanic: Performs maintenance and repairs on pump systems. Diploma needed.
• Multi Technician (MEP): Supports maintenance across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Diploma required.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities vary by position but generally include managing technical teams, overseeing project execution from design to commissioning, ensuring compliance with quality standards, supervising procurement and contracts, conducting maintenance operations, and troubleshooting MEP systems to ensure reliable facility performance.

Requirements and Skills

Candidates must meet the specified experience criteria and hold the necessary academic qualifications and UPDA certifications as detailed for each role. Strong leadership, communication, and technical knowledge in MEP and facilities management are essential to perform effectively in these positions.
