Job Overview

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a skilled Water Meter Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on the effective management and technical execution of water metering projects, including installation, maintenance, and calibration of water meters within distribution systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in water metering technologies and a strong understanding of smart meters and utility operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Water Meter Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the entire life cycle of water metering systems. This includes coordinating field operations, troubleshooting technical issues, managing installation and calibration activities, and ensuring optimal performance of water distribution meters. The position also involves liaising with utility teams to support non-revenue water (NRW) initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• At least 9 years of experience specializing in water metering systems.
• In-depth knowledge of water distribution networks and smart metering technology.
• Proven expertise in installation, maintenance, and calibration of water meters.
• Familiarity with non-revenue water (NRW) management and utility operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on field coordination and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are preferred.
