Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Scaffolding Inspector to join a prominent Oil & Gas project based in Qatar. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in scaffolding inspection, supervision, and safety compliance within industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing scaffolding activities, ensuring all structures meet industry safety standards, and conducting thorough inspections. They will also verify compliance with engineering drawings and prepare certification reports that align with regulatory requirements specific to the Oil & Gas sector.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ practical experience in scaffolding operations.
• At least 4 years’ experience in a supervisory role and an additional 4 years in scaffolding inspection.
• Valid scaffolding inspection certification recognized by authorities such as QatarEnergy LNG, Qatar Gas, CITB, CISRS, OSHA Competent Person, or an equivalent body.
• Proficient knowledge of scaffolding standards including BS 5973 and EN 12811.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Physically fit to perform work at heights and meet the medical standards required for scaffolding tasks.
