Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a seasoned QA/QC Painting and Coating Inspector to join a leading Oil & Gas project based in Qatar. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in blasting, painting, coating, and fireproofing inspection, ensuring quality standards and compliance on high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting all painting and coating applications, including galvanizing and fireproofing processes. They will ensure adherence to QatarEnergy standards, including the QP-SPC-L-002 specification, while conducting thorough quality checks and documentation. Coordination with project teams to address any issues and support quality assurance procedures is essential.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in QA/QC inspection within the painting and coating field, ideally within the Oil & Gas sector.
• QatarEnergy approval is mandatory.
• Possession of BGAS-CSWIP Grade 2 or NACE Level II certification.
• Proven experience in blasting, painting, coating, and fireproofing inspection.
• Knowledge and experience with galvanizing process inspections.
• Familiarity with QatarEnergy projects and standards, particularly QP-SPC-L-002.
• Fireproofing Inspector certification is preferred, adding value to the application.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates based in Qatar are highly preferred to facilitate immediate onboarding and project engagement. The role demands a detail-oriented inspector with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple inspection tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
