Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer (Civil) to join a leading Oil & Gas EPC project under Qatar Energy located in MIC, Qatar. This role offers a six-month contract with the possibility of extension and requires immediate availability. The position involves working closely on quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing QA/QC processes aligned with Qatar Energy standards. Key duties include preparing and reviewing Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Method Statement Templates (MST), and Material Approval Requests (MAR). The role also demands conducting audits, managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensuring proper documentation systemization. Maintaining compliance with relevant codes, such as QCS 2014/2024 and Shell DEP guidelines, is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 8 years of QA/QC experience within Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure projects.
• Thorough knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning QA/QC practices.
• Familiarity with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS 2014/2024), Shell DEP, and QPAD requirements.
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing ITPs, MSTs, and MARs.
• Expertise in audit processes, NCR management, and dossier organization.
• Immediate joiners with valid Qatari ID (QID), Passport, and Dependent Visa (DVC) are preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification (IRCA) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Qatar Energy approval as a QA/QC Engineer is highly advantageous.
• Holding an active MIC gate pass is preferred.
• Certifications for H2S awareness and Fit to Work have added value.
