Job Overview

SpecTech Qatar is seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer or Planning Manager for a key project based in Ras Laffan, Qatar. This role offers an initial contract of 6 months with the possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in project planning and scheduling within the Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Desalination sectors.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project plans to ensure timely execution. This includes preparing detailed schedules, coordinating with multiple teams, monitoring progress, and identifying potential delays or risks. Effective communication with stakeholders and contributing to project decision-making processes will be essential to meet project milestones.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling, preferably in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Desalination projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is mandatory.
• Proven expertise in developing comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Experience working in Qatar or the GCC region will be considered an advantage.
