Job Overview
We are currently seeking qualified professionals for permanent engineering roles based in Ras Laffan, Qatar. Immediate local joiners with a valid Qatar ID (QID) and No Objection Certificate (NOC) are encouraged to apply. The positions include a Site Manager and Senior Site Engineers specializing in mechanical engineering within the oil and gas, desalination, or reverse osmosis (RO) plant sectors.
Key Positions and Responsibilities
Site Manager (1 Position)
- Oversee all site operations including manpower and subcontractor management.
- Ensure smooth installation and execution of mechanical systems, piping, equipment, and GRE/GRP works.
- Coordinate activities to meet project timelines and safety standards.
Senior Site Engineer (2 Positions)
- Manage and supervise metallic piping erection, equipment installation, testing, and overall site execution.
- Collaborate closely with teams to maintain quality and safety benchmarks.
- Report project progress and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory for all roles.
- Site Manager candidates should have over 10 years of GCC construction experience with a strong background in oil & gas or desalination/RO plant projects.
- Senior Site Engineer candidates require at least 7 years of GCC construction experience, specifically in oil & gas combined with desalination or RO projects.
- Proven expertise in mechanical, piping, and equipment installation, as well as GRE/GRP works (for Site Manager).
- Ability to manage and coordinate site teams and subcontractors efficiently.
Work Conditions
The work schedule involves 10-hour duty shifts in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Candidates must be prepared to immediately join locally in Ras Laffan with all necessary legal clearances.
