Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician for a permanent position in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, calibrating, and testing various instrumentation and control systems, including both pneumatic and electronic devices. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and accuracy of industrial instrumentation across site and workshop environments.

Key Responsibilities

The technician will be expected to perform the following duties:

• Install, clean, calibrate, maintain, and overhaul all instrumentation and control systems.
• Conduct routine inspection, testing, calibration, repair, and commissioning of field instruments.
• Perform breakdown repairs and preventive maintenance on electronic and pneumatic instruments on site or in the workshop.
• Assist with function testing, loop checks, and verification of data sheets and reports under the guidance of senior technical staff.
• Diagnose faults in SCADA, PLC, Fire & Gas (F&G) systems, and associated field instrumentation equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education (12 years), complemented by a technical diploma or trade certificate in Instrumentation Engineering.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English to effectively communicate with the team.
• At least five years of practical experience in repairing pneumatic and electronic instruments.
