Job Overview

Al-Balagh Trading & Contracting is urgently seeking a skilled Instrument Supervisor to join their team in Qatar, specializing in the oil and gas sector. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in instrumentation systems and on-site supervision within a safety-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Instrument Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all instrumentation activities on site. This includes inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting instrumentation systems to ensure their operational effectiveness. The role also involves maintaining compliance with Qatar Energy safety standards and managing permit to work (PTW) procedures efficiently. Strong leadership is required to direct the instrumentation team and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years experience as an Instrument Supervisor, preferably within the oil and gas industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of instrumentation systems and related processes
• Valid Qatar Energy PTW Holder certification is mandatory
• Proven ability to supervise and coordinate instrumentation work on-site
• Familiarity with Qatar Energy’s safety regulations and permit protocols
• Strong diagnostic capabilities for testing and troubleshooting instrumentation equipment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with project management
