We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic with expertise in excavator maintenance and repair to join our team in Ras Laffan, Qatar. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing various components of excavators. This includes hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and hoses, as well as electrical and electronic systems. You will perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, inspect engines, transmissions, undercarriage, brakes, and cooling systems, and use appropriate diagnostic tools to identify faults. Maintaining accurate service records and following strict safety protocols throughout all tasks is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, specifically with excavators.
• Strong hands-on knowledge in hydraulic and electrical system diagnostics and repairs.
• Ability to independently identify and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Relevant technical qualification or certification in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
