Al Ali Engineering Co. Contracting & Trading W.L.L. is actively recruiting skilled engineers for its prestigious Qatar Energy Project. The company is looking to fill multiple vacancies across various engineering disciplines including ELV, Mechanical, MEP, and QA/QC. Candidates with extensive on-site construction experience in high-value projects and a proven track record in the Arabian Gulf region are encouraged to apply.
Key Positions and Responsibilities
The available roles include:
- Lead / Project Engineer ELV – Responsible for leading ELV-ICT system engineering activities such as engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning within large-scale projects. Candidates should have hands-on experience with mixed-use projects.
- Site Supervisor ELV – Oversee site supervision ensuring quality and compliance on-site. Ideal candidates are well-organized and communicate clearly in English.
- Commissioning Engineer ELV – Manage on-site commissioning activities, collaborating closely with project teams to ensure smooth system installations and quality control.
- QA/QC Inspector ELV – Conduct inspections adhering to industry standards and project requirements, working independently with minimal supervision.
- Interface Coordinator – Coordinate interfaces effectively within large capital projects, supporting project planning and ensuring compliance with ISO-certified contracting standards.
- Commissioning Engineer MEP – Lead commissioning efforts for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring top quality and timely project delivery.
Required Skills and Experience
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent recognized qualifications relevant to the discipline.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in on-site construction or commissioning work, particularly on projects valued over QR 100 million.
- At least 5 years of experience working within the Arabian Gulf region.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- For site supervision and quality positions, a commanding personality and proficiency in English are essential.
- QA/QC inspectors require a Higher National Diploma or Diploma in engineering with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
- Interface Coordinators must have a minimum of 15 years overall experience, including 10 years specifically in an interface coordination role for major capital projects.
