Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Coating QC Inspector to join a dynamic Oil & Gas pipeline project based in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in coating inspection for onshore and offshore pipelines, ensuring that all coating activities meet industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

The Coating QC Inspector will be responsible for overseeing coating quality control processes, including monitoring and verifying surface preparation, coating application, film thickness measurements, and holiday testing. You will perform thorough inspections following guidelines related to FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy), blasting, surface preparation, and wet film thickness (WFT) and dry film thickness (DFT) assessments to maintain the highest quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years overall experience in the field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on coating inspection experience.
• Strong background working on both onshore and offshore pipeline projects.
• Valid NACE or AMPP Level 2 Coating Inspector certification.
• Engineering degree or diploma.
• Proficiency in FBE coating, blasting techniques, surface preparation, WFT/DFT measurements, and holiday testing.
