ALFTEK International is seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer to join their team in Qatar. This role focuses on delivering accurate cost estimates and managing tender submissions specifically within the steel fabrication sector. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in technical sales, CNC machine knowledge, and ERP system processes to support project success in the oil and gas construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimations and tender documentation. Coordination of estimation activities related to steel fabrication projects, including an understanding of CNC machining and fabrication processes, is essential. This position requires close collaboration with technical sales teams and efficient handling of ERP systems to ensure accurate project costing and smooth tender processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (B.Tech or equivalent).
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in medium to heavy steel fabrication, preferably within the oil and gas construction sector.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience within the GCC region, demonstrating solid familiarity with the industry standards and local requirements.
• Proficient knowledge of CNC machining and fabrication workflows.
• Hands-on experience with technical sales and preparing tenders.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems to support procurement and estimation activities.
• Immediate availability to join.
