Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor with approval from QatarEnergy to join a critical project based in Mesaieed, Qatar. This role is ideal for professionals with a diploma in Electrical Engineering and extensive experience in electrical systems within the Oil & Gas sector. The position offers a three-month contract with a possibility of extension, requiring immediate availability and residence in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high and low voltage electrical switchgear panels and transformers. You will ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical standards in all activities. The role involves close coordination with project teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks, maintaining operational excellence on site.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of seven years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with hands-on experience handling HV and LV switchgear panels and transformer installations. A solid understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and project management within this sector is essential. Experience on Qatar-based oil and gas projects is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience with high and low voltage switchgear panels
• Experience in transformer installation and commissioning
• At least 7 years of Oil & Gas industry experience
• Deep knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations
• Residents of Qatar with valid Qatar ID only
• Immediate availability to start the project

Project Details

This supervisory role is located in Mesaieed, Qatar, supporting an ongoing Oil & Gas project. The initial contract duration is three months with the option to extend, depending on project needs.
