Job Overview
We are urgently seeking a qualified Safety Trainer to join our team in Qatar. This is a long-term contract position offering a competitive monthly salary of QAR 12,165 plus FAT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety training within the petrochemical industry and be committed to maintaining high standards of workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
The Safety Trainer will be responsible for conducting comprehensive safety training sessions and inductions to ensure all personnel comply with industry safety standards. Core duties include delivering training on Work Permit procedures, Confined Space Entry, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols. The role also involves planning and tracking safety training programs and certifications, maintaining accurate compliance records, conducting toolbox talks, performing task risk assessments, and monitoring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as near-miss incident reporting.
Required Skills and Experience
The successful candidate must have at least five years of experience working as a Safety Officer or Safety Coordinator in a petrochemical plant environment. A strong knowledge of petrochemical safety standards and procedures is essential. Candidates must hold at minimum a high school diploma along with a three-year technical school qualification. Additionally, possession of at least one recognized Safety Certification is mandatory. Fluent English communication skills—both written and verbal—are necessary to effectively deliver training and interact with staff.

- At least one recognized Safety Certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety role at a petrochemical plant
- Excellent English communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Strong understanding of petrochemical plant safety practices
- Currently residing in Qatar and available for face-to-face interviews
