Draieh Contracting WLLL, a leading Grade ‘A’ contracting firm in Qatar, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a construction project located in Ras Laffan. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong experience in cost estimation, contract management, and project analysis looking to contribute to a reputable company in the local construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Conductquantity take-offs and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) accurately.
• Estimate project costs and support budgeting activities throughout the construction phases.
• Manage contract administration duties, including handling variation claims and ensuring adherence to contract terms.
• Analyze drawings and project specifications to support cost control and resource allocation.
• Prepare timely reports and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• Four to seven years of hands-on experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word, and familiarity with quantity surveying software is advantageous.
• Demonstrated expertise in contract administration and the management of variation claims.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities are essential for effective collaboration and documentation.
• Experience working on construction projects within Qatar or the GCC region will be considered a plus.
