Job Overview

Our client, a leading contracting company operating across Qatar, is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead their project delivery and oversee both technical and commercial teams. This senior role plays a critical part in managing multiple business units and enhancing overall project execution and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and refining project delivery processes while monitoring progress across three distinct business units. They will provide technical support to the Technical department as needed and play an active role in implementing and transforming company policies, goals, and plans to boost productivity and operational efficiency. Building strong relationships with new clients and driving business development efforts will also be a priority. Additionally, this position holds full profit and loss (P&L) accountability.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is essential.
• An MBA qualification is preferred to support strategic decision-making.
• A minimum of 20 years of experience in the construction industry is required.
• Demonstrated experience working within the GCC region is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Arabic is preferred, enhancing communication within the region.
