Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks using different techniques. This includes structural, pipe, and plate welding, along with cutting, grinding, and fabrication processes. Adhering to safety standards and providing a high quality of workmanship is essential. The role also involves interpreting technical drawings and welding symbols accurately to ensure precise execution.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in welding within the construction industry
• Proficiency in SMAW, GMAW (MIG/MAG), and GTAW (TIG) welding methods
• Hands-on knowledge of welding mild, stainless, and galvanized steel materials
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and welding symbols
• Experience with structural welding, piping, and plate fabrication
• Familiarity with cutting, grinding techniques and fabrication safety protocols
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment

Work Conditions and Benefits

This role requires working 10 hours per day, 6 days a week, under a mandatory secondment agreement. The salary offered is QAR 2,750 plus overtime pay.
